I'm a big fan, as you can tell, of the ORIGINAL Twilight Zone series. Rod Serling's introduction which combined me***hors and puns was truly a work of art and pure genius. Can't find anything like it on TV today.

Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism mandate cremation. These aren't tribal religions. Also the Han Chinese are required to cremate by communist law in China.

I do know that throughout history for many native tribes and clans, cremation was and still is the norm for burial rites.
